Directions To
The Fredericksburg Fieldhouse:
-From I-95, take the Route 3 East exit,
and go past the turnoff for University
of Mary Washington (William St).
-From Route 3 East, take the SOUTH Route
2/Route 17 Exit (right handed exit just
before the Rappahannock River), and at
the bottom the ramp, turn right, towards
Bowling Green, VA. You are now on Route
2, also known as the Tidewater Trail.
-You will pass Mayfield, the City
Fairgrounds, and the Bowman Center.
-Just past Landsdowne Road, you will
cross some train tracks at which point
you will turn right at the next turn,
Shannon Park Drive(this road is not
marked yet, and it is before the Shannon
Airport).
- You cannot see the Field House from
the road, but Shannon Park Drive is 1/8
mile long and eventually curves to the
left, behind the airport. The Field
House is a large white building at the
end of the road with 3411 on the side in
black letters.
VFredericksburg Field house is a 75,000
square foot sports facility located off
of Tidewater Trail near the Shannon
Airport.
The
Fredericksburg Generals maintain
excellent training facilities in South
Central Virginia. The starred locations
on the map designate Generals
facilities. Practices and home games are
generally held at this locations.
